I’m pleased to have had so many constituents – from young people and their parents, to people who work with local youth charities or organisations and more – get in touch with me about this important campaign for proper funding for early intervention hubs.
As the article below notes, there are fantastic local organisations like MAP in Norwich who already provide advice and support for young people – and I’ve visited them in the past to see firsthand the amazing work they do. But at the moment, whether there is such help accessible to young people in a given area is a postcode lottery. Also, the funding for existing ‘hubs’ can be short-term of insufficient. That’s why I’m joining the call to #FundTheHubs.
