As a guest on BBC Question Time the other day, I contributed to discussion on the topic of UK involvement in torture and rendition.

The UK should always be at the forefront of international efforts to detect and expose torture and to bring those responsible for it to justice. To play our part in leading the world in these efforts, we must lead by example. As the saying goes: all that evil requires to triumph is for good people to do nothing.
