Children’s Centre Survey
Children's Centre survey
I am keen to hear your thoughts on the proposal by Norfolk County Council to close 46 out of 53 children's centres in Norfolk. As a father with a new-born baby myself I am very aware of the valuable work children's centres do, offering services such as: advice on early learning and childcare; drop-in stay-and-play sessions; antenatal classes delivered by midwifes; confidential advice and support from health visitors, educational psychologists, and speech and language therapists; and access to outreach services provided by the Wellbeing service.
Do you agree with the proposal by Norfolk County Council to close 46 of the 53 children's centres in Norfolk?

Services are currently provided by trained professional staff. Norfolk County Council has suggested some services could instead be provided by volunteer parents in their own homes. If you currently use a children's centre, would you use such a service provided in this manner?
