School_uniform_survey_front_draft1_(1)-page-001.jpg

Many families in Norwich have contacted me over recent months with their concerns about the affordability and accessibility of school uniform. If you have a school-age child or dependant it would be very useful if you could complete and return the attached survey.

Q: Any other comments?
A: The Schoolwear Centre is where all logo uniform has been supplied from, however they have announced this week their closure at the end of Jan 2017. High school children are growing all the time and items have to be replaced due to being outgrown, It is not fair to ask a child to wear clothes many sizes too big, just to make them last, as that is a catalyst for bullying nowadays therefore needs to be more affordable and available to all.

Q: Any other comments?
A: I think uniform for primary school pupils is ridiculous it’s over priced to hot in summer and to cold in winter. I do not know why any school uniform is necessary do children learn more when they all look the same?
