Rooted in Nature visit

A massive thank you to Adam, Tracey, Hayden and Finlay for being great tutors and making sure we had such a good time paddle boarding on Saturday!

This sport is growing rapidly in popularity and is (relatively!) easy for anyone to get going with: I spent most of the time feeling stable on my board, but Hayden and Finlay ensured I spent my fair share of time in the water too...

Rooted in Nature is a fantastic local social enterprise which makes activities like this available to everyone. Notably, they provide such experiences to those who otherwise wouldn't get the opportunity to take part in them, or who would especially benefit from spending time outdoors and in a different environment. They've worked with young people not in education, with mental health and wellbeing issues and with those who need to improve self-confidence.

This Saturday, they're paddling from Hautbois to Wroxham in order to raise money for Cancer Research UK. The aim is to get 120 paddlers joining in. You can find out more on their page, and donate online here: https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/…/rooted-in-nature-1… Please consider contributing if you can to these great people raising money for a great cause!
