I meet with local nurses in parliament to support #ScraptheCap


Yesterday, I met with nurses who work at local Norwich hospitals to hear firsthand the devastating effect the pay cap - which, in real terms, is rather a pay cut - is having on patients and staff. They'd travelled to Parliament for Royal College of Nursing's #ScraptheCap demo.

Nurses should be paid an amount which reflects the dedication the job requires - and the challenges it throws their way. With some nurses currently having to rely on food banks to get by, it's clear this currently isn't happening. Theresa May must #ScraptheCap and gives nurses the pay rise they deserve.
