My article in the Guardian about drone strikes

In light of Donald Trump threatening to use drone strikes against Pakistan, I've written in The Guardian to implore Theresa May not to get drawn in by his threats and to refuse to play any part.

The lives of innocent people should not be used as diplomatic bargaining chips to punish the Pakistan government. As a former army reservist who served a tour of Afghanistan in 2009, I know what it’s like to feel the fear of battle. I felt that fear, but I made a choice to serve in the army and knew I could come home to safety at the end of my tour. For people living in the border regions of Pakistan, their homes may not be a place of safety for much longer.
